Never before has there been a low-profile hex socket packed with so much thought toward efficiency. Every Dual Action Driver bit measures 7/8” or 22mm long, making them up to 54% shorter than our standard-length bit sockets, perfect for those tight spaces. However, unlike most available low-profile bit sockets, most of the length came out of the driver body rather than the tip, allowing for deeper and more secure seating within a fastener. The majority of the RPT Dual Action Driver bits also maintain full-length geometry across most sizes. On its own, Rounding Prevention Technology delivers up to 50% more torque on good fasteners vs standard tools and up to 400% more torque on damaged fasteners. Combine that with the better tip engagement; you’d be hard-pressed to find another low-profile star driver set that does the job better.

The Low Profile Star and Torx-compatible Dual Action Drivers are precision-engineered from S2 Tool Steel for maximum strength and torsional resistance. It’s part of what allows for the longer tip length without sacrificing its lifetime durability, though a corrosion-resistant finish also helps. Every driver also features laser-etched marking, making it easy to see which you’re sticking onto your ratchet. Unfortunately, there are times when a ratchet just won’t fit, and while all may seem lost, that’s where the RPT Dual Action Driver bits shine the brightest. Each driver body’s exterior is a 7/16” (11mm) hex, allowing you to take advantage, with your favourite 7/16” or 11mm combination wrench. Then, when you’re done extracting that stubborn, hard-to-reach fastener with whichever driver works best for you, simply fit the driver back into place on the 2nd generation aluminium rail for neat and safe-keeping.
